Hot spots have never been my thing, either...  or Richard's, for that
matter.. congenial company, hopefully reasonably not noisy, can be
another thing, though... :)

Late's another thing I don't do as well any more, too... excepting for
good reason...  ;)  And generally, good company... ;)

Ah, perhaps comfortable enough to express more of their discomfort...? 
And/or becoming even less adventurous, even vicariously...?  Sigh....

Can't say as I blame you much for feeling put out about that...
especially when you were someplace where the food was part of the
charm... ;)

So the above would translate into, say, 5 tsps minced garlic, so far as
quantity produced is concerned... and if one didn't like garlic so much,
one might just use less anyway...  ;)  I've decided I like garlic pretty
well... apparently better than Richard does, as he sometimes makes
comments... ;)
