Here it is just over a week later and I am pretty much back up to speed (about
85%). Saw Dr. Rea in his clinic at the Simmons Cancer Institute on Wednesday
but not much came of it except getting vampired for a couple more phials of
blood. His being in the "Simmons Cancer Institute" gave me a pause and a bit of
an anxious moment. But, he is an assistant professor of surgery and is their
chief breast cutter which pretty much explains that. Plus he's a kidney and
pancreas transplant guy, not to mention the kidney, pancreas and gall bladder
surgery.

I see him again next Wednesday for another follow-up. But the earliest I can
see Dr. Miller (cardiologist) to get him to sign off on removal the gall
bladder is 02 August. So, I'm hoping that there are no flare ups between now
and then.

Looking at the measures that guy would be pretty easy to halve - just by
cutting the beans by 50% and using a small (8 oz) can of Green Giant or similar
Mexi-corn or Niblets.

Since you guys are already at the picnic - here's a dandy I have made using
seeded watermelons and my old (from my mother) Foley Food Mill to extract the
seeds. Never had a recipe for it before I found this one, though ....

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Watermelonade
 Categories: Five Beverages, Fruits, Citrus
      Yield: 16 servings

     12 lb Seedless watermelon
    1/4 c  Sugar; divided
      4 ts Fresh lemon juice; divided
     16 c  Ice cubes; divided

  Garnish: lemon slices; mint sprigs

  Cut watermelon flesh into 2" chunks and discard rind.
  PurOe one fourth of watermelon in a blender with 1 Tbsp
  sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice, 4 cups ice, and a pinch of salt.
  Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl,
  discarding solids. Make 3 more batches. Add sugar to taste
  if desired and serve over ice.

  CooksA note: Watermelonade can be made 1 day ahead and
  chilled, covered. Drink will separate; re-blend before
  serving.
