I have recently been informed that the seal meat was
not in proper condition. As it was, I don't see any
amount of treatment or spice doing much to help.

I will (someday) go to Popeye's and see what the fuss is
about. Problem is that fried chicken thighs are about as
good a food as you can have, and Popeye's version is
usually pretty close to the top of the heap. So I'll be
making a sacrifice to test out the new product. It's not
like the olden days when if a meal didn't please me I
could afford the stomach and pocketbook space to just
have another.

Mine is pretty reasonable, couple hundred a year, deductible
as a professional expense. The more university-grounded groups,
having to have a kitchen staff and so on, have what I consider
excessive dues - in the hundreds per month with food minimums.
The H-Y-P club (I just looked it up), in addition to allowing
all sorts of riffraff in an effort to survive has slashed dues
to 65 a month with a 50 minimum and also eliminated the
initiation fee.

I was referring to my club class: my school class was '73; I
had enough credits to get my A.B. in '72 but did not do so;
I also for reasons beyond my understanding would have been
eligible to declare myself a member of '74.

I still haven't bothered to look that stuff up. Maybe I will
someday, but what import does that have to me?

I know some people who don't appreciate music, and I think
they're thugs ... most of them, though, look more respectable
than I do, and I sometimes take some flak when I voice that
opinion.
