Just as a clarification, if needed, those were three different sets of
crackers... not all on the one...  ;)   He'd also do the cheese and
pickles on top of bread or toast, and grill till the cheese melted...
that was more often for lunch, though... :)

You don't remember because your dad didn't cook much... I don't remember
all that Daddy cooked, because it was a regular occurrence..  :)

Obviously made an impression on you.. ;)  We had pineapple on ham at
least some of the time... scored, with cloves at the intersections,
brown sugar over that, and then sometimes the pineapple slices or
crushed pineapple..  :)

Exactly.  My friend Donna likes to take me along when she's shopping for
fabrics for quilts because I see the potential and the color match or
color complementation... she says better than her, but probably not...
but I do have that eye for it..  :)  I did help train her eye, way back,
when I was helping her pick out yarns for a needlepoint project she was
planning out..  :)
