I believe so. But the one percenters feel dwarfed, as they
perhaps should, by the one-tenth percenters.

Given the wide distribution of the old 10-level scale, it would
make sense to have the fancy new peppers be 11 or 12 on a scale
of 10. 

     A newcomer to church,

That seems to be the most important function of that pepper
- as a conversation piece.

My brother remarked today that the potholes were especially
bad this winter, and I said that he was probably right about
that, and the out to lunch creature said that he was surprised
that I agreed with him about anything.

servings: 1

3 oz infused goat's milk
1 oz genepi
1/2 oz palo cortado sherry
h - Infused goat's milk
1/2 c whole oats
1/2 vanilla bean
1 1/2 sticks cinnamon
1/2 ts mace
1 L goat's milk
1/4 c brown sugar

Add ingredients to a mixing tin and stir.
Strain into a small frozen milk jug and
garnish with a candy-striped straw.

For the infused goat's milk. Toast oats,
vanilla, and cinnamon in a pan over medium
heat until browned and aromatic. Remove
from heat and fold in mace. Heat goat's
milk until it barely reaches a boil, then
pour it over the oat mixture. Cover and
steep 1 hr. Strain and discard solids.
Dissolve brown sugar in the milk and cool.
