I'm still getting used to using DosBox - every time I fire up MM I have
to go into the maintenance menu and set the output back to one column.
For some reason it defaults back to double column output whenever I
shut it down. Dunno why. If I make a change in MM on my XP box it
carries forward.  (shrug)

I note that your former workplace got caught up in a kerfluffle
yesterday. Turns out it wasn't terrorists but a couple of drunken
drag-queens on the way home from a party in a stolen SUV who made a
wrong turn. With fatal results.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Mead by Euell Gibbons
 Categories: Beverages, Honey, Wine, Citrus
      Yield: 1 Gallon

      1 ga Water
      4 lb Honey
      6    Cloves
      2    Sticks cinnamon
           Juice & peel from one lemon
      1 ts Activated dry yeast

  In a large nonreactive pot, add the next four ingredients to
  the gallon of water. Boil all together for 30 minutes, then
  strain into a crock that will hold it with a little room to
  spare. When cooled, add the yeast, dissolved in some of the
  liquid. Allow to ferment in a cool place - 55 degrees is
  ideal - until it ceases bubbling and the liquor clears, then
  bottle, cap tightly and store in a cool, dark cellar. It
  should not be used for at least a month, and longer is
  better.

  Mead, unlike many other drinks, does not improve with really
  long aging, so it should be consumed within a year of the
  time it was made. ;+}

  NOTES: My only experience with mead was with a well-aged
  example which was said to be not-quite drinkable when it
  was cellared for several years. So, your mileage may vary.
  Keep in mind the Mr. Gibbons, an advocate of natural and
  wild foods died of malnutrituon.
