Worth checking into, anyway.. :)

Hope you did get enough. :)

RH> And nothing was spilled on the stove making it seem yellow. (G)
RH> Some whites do yellow with age and exposure to the sun.

Exactly... and it hadn't yellowed from age or sun-exposure, after
all... ;) I suppose that in some ways it didn't really change my
relative color perception... swatches to bolt would probably have been
accurate before the surgery... but I might have had a surprise at what
the colors/whites really were in the finished product afterwards... ;)

RH> I bought a white electric can opener in AZ; I can tell where certain
RH> parts are more hidden as they are still white. Most of it is a
RH> slightly yellowed white, not obvious unless you see the parts that
RH> are still a purer white.

That was the sort of thing I'd thought was happening... :) Which turned
out not to be the case... :)

NB>>> She might well have some sort of album, to give newbies an idea

RH>> I don't know what she does, but she does like to see my work. She

NB>> I suspect that most fabric shop owners are in it because they love

RH> And the way different people's minds work with the same piece of
 RH> fabric. (G)

Yes, that, too... ;) And with how different minds might end up
realizing a certain pattern...

NB>> I always get a small cabbage... or half a medium one... just enough
NB>> to get the taste without being overwhelmed by it...

RH> I got the best looking of the smallest cabbage I could, tho it was
RH> probably a medium size. No cut in half ones available to grab.

At Wegmans, there's usually a produce clerk to grab... they've always
been very willing to cut one down for me. This year, it turned out that
someone before us had asked for the same thing, and was waiting for the
clerk to return with the halves... The clerk came back with two halves,
already weighed and labled... I took the smaller of the two, and both of
us were happy... :)

NB>> we tend to prefer cabbage as sauerkraut rather than boiled, but once
 NB>> in a while is fine... ;)

RH> We like it as cole slaw most of the time.

We like it that way once in a while, too... :)

NB>> Depending on how much or little is left over, some years the leftover
NB>> cabbage and beef get chopped down and the last meal is soup...

RH> Hash would be good too.

If there hadn't been so many veggies overall left over this year, the
piece of corned beef would probably have been about the right amount for
a decent supper meal of hash... although I might have had to have cooked
more potatoes... :)
