One blinding hail Mary at the first one - and then came
this week. Nothing much of nothing. I managed to spend
$26 between one estate sale and two tag sales. The deal
of the weekend was some art pencils/pens. Really
exciting. I did manage to find the estate guys some extra
dough - spotted a killer mid-century dining set in the
basement. Made 'em put it on Craigslist.

Either that or they were former strays with zero "picky"
genes whatever.

I have a rather full chest freezer, but if it's free or
close.... Some of my steepest bargains are from a
markdown rack of nonperishables though. Free air
freshener (after coupon), and this week dirt cheap cat
food. It's a kind they like too, and at 75% off why not.
The box of packets apparently came open, but the packages
themselves were fine.

True.  For weddings, mine didn't allow dancing for years;
I don't know about now. No one holds the main reception
there anyway, generally speaking.

Amen. I'm not fond of them, but one less thing to think
about. My pastor's wife has a concussion and the church
has been feeding them for weeks. Not the same thing,
obviously, but precooked food comes in. He's a great
pastor, but the man can't cook and the two teenaged boys
need to learn.

That doesn't mean anything. My current lead pastor did a
number on his back at about that age. A heating pad was
in use as often as not.

Now of course a week later, it's warmed up enough to make
more snow unlikely. Not impossible, just unlikely.
