Looks like we'll still have to start no earlier than the 16th, unless by
some chance the cottage is unrented the week before we arrive.  Also,
looks like Fords could be available within the 17th-20th range, from my
notes, if they decide they are up to the trip.  We could have a main
picnic day somewhere in there... although, as I recall, last Boyd Pond
picnic, we just spread it out over the timeframe...

I spoke to Linda today, and confirmed our reservation.  She needs a $100
deposit to hold it, which I can get to her when I go up to the Pond for
my spring board meeting Memorial Day weekend...  A correction, it's $700
for the week, same as last time.  But that is a flat rate for the
cottage, no matter how many we actually have in there (no additional per
person if we go over 7).

Too little, too late, and laughable to boot... sigh... ;0  I once had a
good experience with a coupon restitution, though... I called (mostly
just as a courtesy to the company) to let them know that one of the
calcium chews in the box I'd bought was totally unwrapped (usually they
are all nicely wrapped in their little foil papers).  They sent me a
coupon for a free box of them... and it wasn't expired...  (G)  Saved me
something like $7, to have the free coupon, not bad...  :)
