Probably next time I defrost it, whenever that will be. (G) I usually do
a different sheet for each category--prepared meals, raw meats, sides,
fruits & veggies, misc other, etc.

Very true, we've had, for the most part, just one income. I worked part
time for a few years in Germany, helped finance some of the extras we
were able to do. My sewing doesn't bring in that much income so Steve
lets me keep it for whatever I want--my "pin (replacement) money".

We bought our first one when Rachel was about 6 months old--couldn't get
credit from Sears so my FIL actually bought it, we paid him back. A
couple of years later, out of the blue, Sears offered us a card. (G)

They are big (!) help. My parents got their first one when I was in
college. Mom had canned a lot before, but then switched to freezing more
veggies.

Even that old stove that is like the one I learned to cook on, with the
push buttons? That was modern technology when Dad put it in the house,
