Yes, that's the truth.. You know living in the country across the street from
the hospital meant you'd have rats trying to get in all the time. So I put out
some rat poison that was an anti-coagulant.  One Rat actually made it in and I
was a bit freaked out.. And of course here comes Fred, boom, he grabbed the
thing by the neck and ran outside with it LOL.. I was worried at first until he
returned the next morning looking hmm.. BLOATED Lol..he must have eaten "the
whole thing" Lol. I was worried about the rat having eating the poison, so my
vet gave him a shot of Vit. K... but he didn't really need it from what we
could tell :)

Oh yeah very true.. and back then in the 70's,  Warwick sure was a cowtown with
some "saving graces" because of the celebrities.  I made a sequined laden dress
for Gloria Dehaven (geez, all these dead celebs Lol) at the same time because I
was working at an artsey clothing shop then in Warwick and like I said now and
again these celebs would walk in and need this or that :) It was a little
exciting for a 17 year old kid <grin> Btw, at the time  Doc Severinson played
the trumpet on the Johnny Carson show...... that guy blew me away with his
talent with that trumpet. But so did the band he led on that show <g> 
Sometimes I wonder who's living there now.....

I haven't seen one yet.. only like Fred from a litter that had calicos but he
was a grey tiger, and Leo, a yellow long hair tiger.  Leo is LuLu's brother who
is one of the feral kitties we adopted. He took off eventually, didn't want to
be "in a house" I guess.

My two yellow-lab mix dogs always need something LOL..but then so do the two
cats.  Generally you can't feed those two cats enough either.. if a food dish
is down to maybe half full, Lol starts Meowing like crazy, and so does Lulu but
in a quieter way.

All we've gotten so far is darn cold snaps so far like every other day.. darn.
Even the birds aren't "really" around during the day.
