If we went now, we'd plan a stopover in HI for a few days, both going
and coming. The first time we flew to HI, we started out in FL, almost
missed the flight because of Spring Break kids returning so many rental
cars. We made our hop to Charlotte but they had to reopen the plane's
doors for us. Went as far as LA that day, on to HI the next. That was
when you could check 2 bags free, 70 pounds weight--we had a couple that
were 68 and 69 point something.

I don't sleep on planes, but keep myself occupied with reading, puzzles,
needlework, etc. Flying other than Southwest, sometimes watching movies.
Saw "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs" on the flight over to Israel.

That was a fast turn around--did you catch yourself going as you were
coming?

Not like the heat we have down here. (G) Actually, we've had a couple of
nice dys--mid to upper 70s, low humidity and sunny. It was a bit cool at
the farmer's market, a jacket felt good. I picked up a piece of
blueberry jam cake with penuche icing, some baby beets (with greens
still attached) and some sugar snap peas. Steve came home later with a
couple of spelt cinnamon rolls and good amount of "culled" tomatoes he's
getting ready to juice.

It's nice starting the morning with that, better'n coffee, IMO.

Looks good, a bit of an indulgence but I can splurge occaisionally.
