I've had times like that, thinking I'm not sleeping but getting some.
It's not the deep sleep so you feel like you're still awake.

And I doubt I've flown even a tenth of 3 million. Mine have been mostly
long trips (USA to Germany & back, HI to mainland & back, east coast to
LV or PHX with some short ones years ago. I had to fly up from NC to New
York (Albany or Rochester) and back a couple of times in the mid 70s but
my first flight was a long one, JFK to Dusseldorf by way of Heathrow.

That's about right for a southern pound cake. Main ingredients are
supposed to be a pound each, but I suspect that's not always so.
