Sounds like that's highly selected for. What's the benefit of the
trait, I wonder.

Possible, but they loved me even when I was tiny.

Doesn't explain me, whose normal temp until recently was
97.8F. I do sweat more than average, but it's a relatively
clean (non-butyric) sweat; and as I said before I'm really
careful about washing up frequently in the summertime.

Not me, though people have been laughing at my reemerging beer belly.

That's as may be, but in my case it would just be making the bad
situation worse. Between 1953 and 1966 I do not recall having a
beer but do recall being singled out for attention by the pesky
critters.

I still stand by my original hypothesis, I'm just more delicious
than the rest of the population.

Title: Rice Pudding
Keywords: pudding, rice, orchards

4-6 servings

4 cups milk                       5 Tbsp. sugar
2 cups water                      2 eggs
8 Tbsp. rice                      1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients together.  Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.  Turn
down to medium heat and continue to simmer for 30 minutes until mixture is
thick.  If mixture is still loose continue on low heat for 10 minutes more.
Remove from heat.  Beat 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla and stir into rice pudding.
Let stand for 5 minutes.  Serve warm or chilled.  Top with cinnamon if
desired.
