Once I showed up in COOKING (since Carol said that one needed to be part
of the echo to come to the picnic), I did get talking to various echo
members... I only knew of Janis at that point, though...  I did know
Dale from the BLUEWAVE echo already....

Yes, I remember...  :)  And I came mostly as an Eat, although I did
bring some of my single malt Scotch for tastings...  :)

Gourmet food isn't necessary, very true..  It does help, though, if it's
food that the person enjoys, too...  :)

She doesn't eat nearly as much now as she did then... and it needs to be
cut down or ground with lots of sauce or gravy now, or well-cooked
soup... not as easy to do out as just doing the buffet...  And her
tastes are pickier now, too... she doesn't eat as much or as widely at
the church dinners as she used to, either...  And, at the moment, she's
going nowhere... ;/
