My Dell tower was put into service in 2002 and has been running pretty much
24/7 ever since. It's beginning to slow down -- which is understandable. I
recently bought a "refurbished" HP small form factor desktop with W7 - which
will be upgraded to XP as soon as I find my supply of round tuits. Then I'll
give the Dell a well deserved rest and (physical) cleaning.

Anyway, I am digressing. If you put the adapter on your Laser Jet you will be
able to print from any machine on your home network. And if it's already in
place when you do upgrade -- one less thing to fuss with.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Amazon Grill's Amazon Chicken
 Categories: Poultry, Vegetables, Sauces
      Yield: 4 Servings

      2    Ears corn; shucked
      1 c  Amazon Cream Sauce
    1/2 c  Flour
      2 lg Eggs
    1/2 c  Milk
      1 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Black pepper
      4    (6 oz ea) chicken breasts;
           - skinned, boned
           Olive oil for sauteing

  On a grill, roast the ears of corn turning until all sides
  are browned. Set aside and allow to cool.

  TO PREPARE THE AMAZON CREAM SAUCE: In a large bowl, combine
  1/2 cup each sour cream and whipping cream. Whisk until the
  creams are thoroughly mixed.

  In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and water to make a
  paste.

  In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring the cream
  mixture to a boil and whisk in the cornstarch paste.
  Continue stirring until the sauce coats the spoon, then
  remove the sauce from the heat. Set aside in a warm place
  until ready to serve.

  Using a knife, shave the kernels off the cobs. Spread the
  kernels onto a large plate. In a bowl, place the flour. In
  another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together, set aside.

  In a small saucer, combine the salt and pepper, and sprinkle
  over the chicken. Dredge the chicken lightly in the flour,
  then dip into egg wash. Press one side of chicken into the
  roasted corn kernels, coating the breast evenly with the
  kernels.

  In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Sauteed
  chicken breasts, corn side down, for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  With a spatula carefully turn chicken over and cook until
  done, about 3 minutes longer. Remove the breasts from the
  skillet and drain on paper towels.

  TO SERVE: ladle 1/4 cup of the Amazon Cream Sauce onto each
  of four plates; place the chicken on top of the cream sauce
  with the corn side up. Serve with the leftover Amazon Cream
  Sauce on the side and with roasted potatoes and/or grilled
  vegetables.

  Makes 4 servings.
