As a cocktail party horses douver  Bv)=  I might try one. Especially if I was 
well pre-served with adult beverages. Otherwise, I agree.

      Title: Coca Cola Bars
 Categories: Desserts, Cookies, Snacks
      Yield: 30 Servings
 
      1 c  Coca-Cola
      1 c  Vegetable oil
      3 tb Dry cocoa powder; not cocoa
           - mix
    1/4 lb Butter
      2 c  Flour; sifted
      2 c  Sugar
      2 lg Eggs; beaten
    1/2 c  Sour milk or buttermilk *
      1 ts Soda
  1 1/2 c  Mini marshmallows
           Coca Cola frosting
 
  * you may substitute regular milk with a bit of vinegar.
  
  Preheat the oven to 350oF/175oC. Grease a 10" x 15"
  jellyroll pan.
  
  Using a saucepan large enough to hold the batter, melt
  together the Coke-Cola, oil, cocoa, and the butter. Bring
  to a boil. Remove from the heat.
  
  In a bowl, combine the flour and sugar and add to the hot
  mixture in the pan.
  
  In another bow, combine the eggs, milk, and soda. Add this
  mixture to the mixture in the pan.
  
  Add the mini marshmallows to the mixture and stir to
  distribute evenly. Pour the batter into prepared jellyroll
  pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, until
  toothpick comes out clean. Finish with the Coca-Cola
  frosting.
  
  NOTE: If you do not have the jellyroll pan called for, you
  can use a 9" x 13" oblong plus an 8" square.
  
  Peg Torness of Sisseton, S.D., said that the fizz should be
  out of the Coke. She adds 1 cup of chopped, toasted pecans
  to the icing.

 Categories: Five, Frosting; d, Cakes
      Yield: 1 Batch
 
      4 tb Butter
      3 tb Dry cocoa powder
      6 tb Coca-Coke
    1/2 ts Vanilla
      1 lb Sifted powdered sugar
 
  In a pan, combine the butter, cocoa, Coca-Cola, and vanilla.
  Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the sifted
  powdered sugar. Beat until the frosting is smooth. Spread on
  bars while still warm.
