I don't do $cumCast for *anything*. I was on Wildblue (satellite) then my 
brother got ticked with some of their arrogance and went with Dish 
(hughes.net). When I finally get back to the tin can I'll be back on AT&T dsl 
or fibre. I'm also back in house shopping mode. When I find a place that looks 
like it might fly I go to AT&T's web site to see if U-verse or dsl is 
available at the address. If not, see ya.

I really don't know. Fred is an old phart and probably a semi-luddite. I'd 
suspect he's on a term program and either BW or even SLMR.

Nancy had complained about not seeing her posts in Home Cooking propagate to 
Doc's -- and you KNOW she's not using a newsreader.  Bv)=

The odd thing is that the same posts, forwarded to Cooking show up there. And 
now I see that messages are going out from Doc's .... as well as replies to 
them coming in. Beats me. Plus Doc's telnet connection seems to be screwed 
.... I'm about ready to pull the plug on his service from this end.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Papas Con Cebollas Y Chile (Home Fries w/Onions & Chile Powder)
 Categories: Potatoes, Chilies, Vegetables, Herbs, Citrus
      Yield: 4 servings

      4 md Red potatoes; in quarters
      3 tb Oil
      1 lg White onion; sliced
      4 cl Garlic; chopped
           Ground chile to taste;
           - depending on the type
           - of chile
      1 ts Kosher salt
      4    Grinds black pepper
      3    Epazote leaves; chopped, opt
      1    Lime

  Bring salted water to a boil in a pot and cook the
  potatoes for 20 minutes or until they are tender. Drain.
  Cool enough to handle and peel. Cut each quarter into a
  few thick slices.

  Heat the oil in a large skillet and add the potatoes and
  onion. Turn with a spatula until the vegetables are pale
  gold. Add the garlic and cook until the garlic turns
  golden. Add the chile powder, salt, pepper, and epazote.
  Cook, stirring to coat the potatoes and lightly toast the
  chile powder. Sprinkle with lime juice just before
  serving.
