For one thing, they do seem to encourage that... nutrients for healing
and all that...  As well, as I think I saw Dale mention, there were all
those calories he wasn't drinking that needed making up for... ;)

Ah, so not necessarily a valid deal anyway...  ;)

Updating probably isn't the real issue... make it more glitzy and you
might lose the ones that are left, that much prefer things the way they
are...  Just have to keep conversations going, I figure...

That is indeed impressive...  :)

I suppose that internal medicine probably does end up with a largely
elderly population in hospital... And, come to think on it, I think
they've pretty much done away with actual geriatric wards, per se...
I remember when I was in hospital with the broken ankle that the quad
room I was in had both male and female patients in it, too...  Plus, I
shared an ED cubicle with a man that had also broken his ankle, his by
falling off a ladder and having the ladder fall on him...

Only time it might have for me, there was also the issue of potential
food poisoning issues at the same time... ;)  Hamburgers cooked in wine,
hotdogs in beer... and a boyfriend that wouldn't let me have wine to
drink until I'd had at least one glass of beer...  Served him right that
I was sick all over him later that night... ;)
