That's what I thought I understood... Our BJs does have gas, and that,
along with the savings elsewhere at the store, indeed pays for the
membership for us...  But that sounds like it probably wouldn't pay for
us to have yet another membership... hard to have two similar ones both
be able to pay for themselves and make it worth it...  Unless Costco had
sufficient other things that would in themselves pay for it... but I
doubt I'd be buying enough cookies (or should be, for that matter) to
make it worth it... ;)  Guess I'll have to wait to find someone local
that does have a membership at Costco to check them out... ;)

Originally, BJ's only accepted Discover card (or cash, maybe check)...
Now they accept just about any of the major credit cards... similar
deal... I'd expect that they'd probably still keep Amex... there had
been similar talk at BJs re Discover, but they worked things out...
