Sounds like us, we can talk about something for quite a while before we

The non gluten eater had hers on corn chips, her suggestion so we
wouldn't have to get anything special. I'd planned to bring the corn
chips so she was safe there. Her non dairy eating son had no trouble
with a bite of apple crisp--doubled the topping so a 10x15 pan had a
stick of butter scattered in it. Mom said that he's having more trouble
with dairy now but would have had an immediate reaction if the butter
were an issue, and it wasn't, phew!

Yes, it was a good one for the first cool day since some time in May. I
used almond meal instead of flour in the apple mix so it didn't thicken
like it usually does, but it was gluten free.

Sigh! Steve commented that we take the time to make safe foods, too bad
others can't reciprocate with his corn problem. Sounds like you have
some what of the same, but with apples.
