But, we've managed to keep going.

We've still got boxes to unload but it's mainly stuff like books. Right
after we closed, we bought a new washer and dryer set--front loaders
with pedistal bases. Steve remounted the doors on the laundry area on
piano hinges so they'd open out and away, otherwise we couldn't have
used the drawers on the bases. That's just one of probably 3 dozen (more
or less) improvements we've made to this place.

We try to accomodate the food issues so those that have can enjoy a
roughly similar meal to the one everybody else is eating. It made the
(then 2 year old) dairy intolerant kid's day when we served ice cream
once, with home made mango sorbet for him. I've done a casserole several
times, taking out a portion before mixing the cheeses in, and putting it
in a separate dish various times. Next time I do it, I'll use gluten
free pasta for part, if not all, of the pasta called for.

I don't have any known food allergies, just several dislikes.

We're going to try this, but with an other than corn bread dressing, so
Steve won't have any problems with it.
