OTOH, we tend to go to Hardee's more than McD's, given a choice of the
2. Other choices thrown in, we'd have to say Chick-Fil-A is probably the
one we go to most often of the big chains. I don't usually get the
sandwich any more but go for the strips instead (fewer carbs with no
bun) and ask for a side of pickles.

Trouble is, none of the chains make a whole wheat biscuit. I made some
last night--decided to make buttermilk but used Greek yogurt and water
since I didn't have any buttermilk. They turned out good.

No rush, we don't go that often.

We've got both HD and Lowe's in Wake Forest, besides a Town & Country
(used to be Ace) and a small hardware store in town that we patronise
for little things, not always found at the big name places.

Different era, different cooks. Dad was on a ship, usually in the middle

That's not much more than I plan to cook for, for Life Group. I don't
know how well that would go over with the group but I'll scale it down
and give it a try at home.
