I don't think it's bad for most shows. News shows like Fox or CNN
usually have a crawler with the headlines so once I've caught a cycle of
them, I can ignore the set.

Very much so, or they leave out parts. I noticed that when I was better
at reading sign language--very often interpreters are just that, not
word for word translators. As long as the basic idea is conveyed tho,
there's no problem but sometimes an exact translation is needed. I think
the interpreter Nikki Hailey (SC governor) had the other day was pretty
good about getting the word for word translation done; I saw a bit of
her news conference.

Usually if they stop, the lights keep going. Sometimes they catch my
attention faster than sirens; I'm more used to tuning them out but it's
hard (especially after dark) if you see the red or blue lights nearby.

Hmmmmmmmmm, I'll have to try adding garlic sometime. I've put celery,
onion and apple into tuna salad before but not garlic. Sounds good. And,
seeing the lemon juice & black pepper makes me think lemon pepper would
be good as well.
