Makes sense, that restriction.

And that makes sense, too, but mostly the benefit of that
line of activity goes to the heirs.

A publicity ploy. Don't get any more specific about
it, or blood pressures will rise.

The only way to survive that is to have a mass
revaluation, which will cause more trouble for
everyone.

I&J got a form in the mail from the local government, and
Jacquie took about a day to fill it out carefully, and
when they got it back to city hall, the person looked at
it and said, didn't you read the cover letter? All you had 
to do was sign the bottom, and we'd do the rest. They said
not to worry, they would take care of it.


Cabbage cream soup
categories: Frenchish, mine
servings: 3

3 c shredded cabbage
butter
1 bn scallions
1 garlic, mashed
4 thyme sprigs
2 Tb Calvados
3 c chicken stock
1 oz small pasta
1 c thick cream
s, p

Stew the cabbage in butter until it's tender.

Clean the scallions and chop green and white parts.

Add the scallions, garlic, and thyme to the cabbage.
Cook a few minutes. Add the Calvados and let boil
off. Add the stock and bring to a boil. Add pasta
and cook until done. Finish with cream. Correct
seasoning and serve hot.
