True... since anything can make a good breakfast...  :)  The way my
Chinese friend makes it, it is intended more for breakfast (or lunch or
supper, whenever one wants it)... hers is just the rice cooked with
water, pretty much...  :)

It did... not quite garbage pail soup, but I suppose well on the way to
that... ;)  It did, as usual, taste quite good...  :)  As far as I'm
concerned, the ginger is what makes the soup... ;)  I usually use the
jarred ginger strips in brine for this... saves chopping, and adds some
extra flavor to the soup broth...  :)
