Just have to cultivate the asian parts of your accent... ;)

Quite so...   Never quite true, but hits enough to pass... ;)  I totally
confused an older Scottish gentleman once in England who prided himself
on being able to tell where any Briton was from based on the accent...
I'm sure I've told the story before... He was quite relieved that he
hadn't lost his touch when I admitted to him on questioning that I was
from the States...  ;)

I never had any strong aspirations there, either, although I was often a
spearheader for family theatrics...  I usually gave the major parts to
various siblings that were more theatical... and took the bit parts,
like the dual part of the father and the pastor's wife (both offstage at
the same time).... Used my deep voice for the father, my falsetto for
the woman, and Daddy, in the audience, said "those two actors should
change places", knowing full well that I was playing both...  (G)

Yeah, that could have been worse... ;)  One might have thought that
she'd at least have divided up the part slips into "male" and "female",
with the parts that it didn't matter divided somewhat equally between
the two "hats"...  Perhaps the lot was confused by your nurturing
aspects... ;)
