I've no idea, one sister is in AZ, the other, about an hour and a half
south of M'ville.

Maybe, but there aren't any more I'm interested in so they can take any
they want.

One year in AZ we had Thanksgiving dinner combined with my parents,
Steve's parents and a number of friends. (My sister's younger son was
only a few months old at the time, older son was 13.) We had the dinner,
but decided to wait a bit for dessert. When we figured it was time for
dessert, my nephew was first in line and wanted to take half of a
pumpkin pie. Deborah was right in back of him, talked him into taking
only a quarter of it so others could have some. (I'd made a couple.) A
while later, I saw him go back to the pies and come out with another
quarter of pumpkin pie on his plate. Growing boy. (G)

It was--we'd all eat, catch up with each other, all keep an eye on kids,
etc. Just before the Battalion Commander started the main informational
part of the get together, the single soldiers would gather up all the
kids and take them off for play, a movie or whatever so parents could
pay attention to the meeting without the distraction of wondering what
the kid was getting into.

They're in the freezer for now, less tempting to just chow down on them
without paying attention to how many carbs already consumed that day.
