No commissary at either place also; if we want to shop at a commissary,
the nearest one is Fort Bragg. We thought we'd be doing that on a semi
regular basis when we first moved to WF but actually have been down
there less than half a dozen times, and not at all to the commissary.

Sounds about normal for a military installation, lots of perimeter
wooded areas.

No need for a heat pack for the doll, the other is to keep baby warm &
snuggly.

Sometimes that's what is needed.

He has a slide rule, somewhere in this house--and knows how to use it.
Manual typewriters--I think the last one we had, found a home in Berlin.
The last electri one found a home, IIRC, in HI.
