One more reason to shop Aldi. I do have one of those relatively close to
me, but it's still a good 15 minutes beyond my regulars.

Yep - especially considering the highway robbery prices they had on the
turkey.

I passed. It would mean dealing with that pesky breast meat.

Outranked in more ways than one!

It's been warmer than normal here, oddly enough.

Good idea. Speaking of carbs, I made pumpkin "pudding" the other night -
pumpkin pie without the crust. The crust on that pie always ends up soggy
anyway, so I just left it off.

I have a friend living in a nursing home here. He has schizophrenia and
some physical problems and could probably live in a group home of some
kind,
but for a lot of reasons lives there. I bring him a bottle of hot sauce
every so often. ...and just remembered I was going to get him some coffee
creamer and totally blew it for the second day in a row. Arggh.

That too. I used mine during a power outage more than once.

Sometimes they can, but the rest of the time not so much.
