He got the name because he was a stray kitten that showed up at a church
retreat at which we were focusing on the Paraklete... couldn't name him
that, of course, so tried for the verb form... Got the extra "a" in
there, and it turned out to be appropriate, too, as he could be quite
the beggar...  ;)   He tended to live up to both aspects of the name...
we did have a long-term house guest that would scoop him up into his
arms, bury his face in the belly fur, and call him the Holy Spirit
cat... and the cat stood for it just fine... He was indeed somewhat of a
comforter cat....  He lived to be 19...  He was the one that liked spicy
tomato sauce, and would even eat beans if there were chili sauce on
them... ;)
