I wasn't the only one to question the nudity of the Emperor in that era. Just 
one of the first (and the first locally). It created a real s#!+ storm -- even 
had people writing letters to the daily fish wrapper telling them I should be 
fired (from a paper at which I never (nor would ever) worked) after being 
either (a) horsewhipped (b) drawn and quartered or (c) tarred and feathered 
(ridden out of town on a fence rail as an option). I was, by turns 
characterised as a "communist", "un-American", "liar", "criminal", "beatnik" 
(guilty) or a "hippie" (not guilty - hippies were druggie/stoner beatniks). 
Most of those people are currently supporting Trump's run today. However, it 
did have the desired effect of making people take a closer look at where their 
good intentions were going and how they were being (ab)used.

According to the Charity Navigator's web site " We don't evaluate The 
Salvation Army.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Rum Sauce
 Categories: Booze, Sauces
      Yield: 8 Servings
 
      1 c  Sugar
    3/4 c  Water
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
      2 tb Cornstarch
    1/4 c  Cold Water
    1/2 c  Rum
 
  Combine first three ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  Bring to a boil and hold the boil for 5 minutes over
  medium high heat, stirring constantly.
  
  Gradually blend together cornstarch and cold water.
  Stir into hot sugar mixture.
  
  Cook and stir until thickened. Stir in rum then allow
  to cool slightly.
  
  Serve warm with pie or steamed puddings.
