It was the two of us at Michael Mina's restaurant,
formerly Aqua, and it came out in a big shiny domed 
cart, and people stopped eating and stared.

Mr. Mina, by the way, looks pretty darned Arab to
me, though it's said he is of Coptic Christian stock.
Would be a pity if he was hassled at the border.

Ah. Were you all flying out of ART, or just he? In any
case, I think I know where my priorities would have lain.

Well, when used as it is in that title, it doesn't mean
greeting or salutation, but it is one. "Un salut" might
mean a greeting or salutation. "Salut" means the equivalent
of "hey there."

12 Concord grapes
1/2 oz vanilla syrup
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz Barolo Chinato
3/4 oz fino sherry
1 oz Sombra mezcal

Muddle grapes in the bottom of a highball glass, add
crushed ice, and swizzle in the remaining ingredients.
