Of course... ;)

Hmmm.... Hopefully it won't be too upsetting... and/or easily
resolved... That's her brother...? Nobody wants to be told to just get
over it, though, you know... one is supposed to at least commiserate a
little first... ;)

 ML> I suppose. I made 3 meat meals (2 chicken, 1 pork) during
 ML> the time I was there, 9 or 10 days I think. I made 6 to 8

A tasty chance of pace... with you to cook it for them... :)

ML> But after a week, they were just getting around to finishing
ML> the butternut squash vegan chili, putting bits of it in their
ML> lunch bags for today. To be fair, they used a whole squash,
ML> so there was a bunch of the stuff.

Sounds to me like something that one would freeze up a large portion of
(in smaller, individual or meal, portions) from the outset... ;) I have
a hard time thinking of having to eat it continuously for a week... ;/

ML> Responsible, but I've given up on being responsible.

We can let them be the responsible ones... ;) Our meatless or mostly
meatless meals were more an economic necessity, especially when we were
regularly feeding a bunch of people on a couple-people budget... :)

ML> Too primal. A sort of unwritten prohibition against placing
ML> calcium against calcium I guess. Similar to those who won't
ML> eat rare meat because it reminds them of vampirism.

Oh, well... they miss out on some of the pleasures of eating... ;)

ML> Indeed. I should perhaps have borne in mind that they
 ML> live about 2 miles from a Penzey's.

Yes, that might well have been a factor to consider... ;)

 ML> Title: Heavenly Dessert Cheesecake
ML> Categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low-cal (doesn't look either all that
ML> low-cal nor all that heavenly)
 ML> Yield: 10 servings
ML> 1 tb Graham Cracker Crumbs 1 c Low Fat Cottage
 ML> Cheese 16 oz Nufchatel Cheese* 2/3 c Sugar
ML> 2 tb Unbleached All-purpose Flour 2 tb Skim Milk
 ML> 1/4 c Almond Extract

Low-cal maybe in comparison to full-fat versions...? ;) I'll agree on
it doesn't look all that heavenly, though... ;)
