More praise for Popeye's. As you know from reading here,
I take every opportunity to visit Popeye's. Church's 
offers more bang for the buck, but that's because it is
in worse neighborhoods, and the prices are unutterably
low. Even cheaper and in even dodgier neighborhoods are
the loosely-interaffiliated Crown and Kennedy chains;
Dave the Sac speaks reverently of them, but I've not had
the chance, not being into bulletproof vests at the moment.

Possibly, but if all was relaxed, one might expect
them to have found a place with Internet by now.
Otherwise we can wait until the floodgates open (one
notices this happens at times with your posts as well).

I had a hilarious bout with the stuff in the Frankfurt
airport about a decade ago. The finale involved loading 
Lilli into a baggage trolley and running full tilt through 
the closed corridors and past stony faced machine-gun-totin' 
Teutonic guards.

Sazerac
cat: booze, New Orleans
servings: 1

2 oz bourbon or rye 
1 ds Angostura bitters 
3 ds Peychaud's bitters
1/2 ts absinthe

Mix whiskey and bitterses over ice.

Twirl a few drops of absinthe in frosted glass
[lore says to discard excess].

Strain mixture into the coated glass.
