We've lived in the eastern part of the state which could be the thoughts
behind my reasoning. Charlotte has always had "the western NC" area
code, from back when the state only had 2. (G)

I had it sliced, but don't recall the name of the places we went to.

We enjoyed Speedy Lohr's, outside of Lexington proper, but Lexington
style bbq.
