I saw similar, but not that particular one. I also saw some anti hfcs
ads, one in particular stands out in my memory. Elementary age school
kids doing a skit about healthy eating--one's something like broccoli,
another is carrots, etc. Then the hfcs kid does his spiel--you see a
ragged sorta ear of corn costume and all this stuff oozing out from it.
Not appealing at all!

They're trying to push fracking in NC too; I'm not sold on it, despite
all the claims that it's safe, etc........

I wasn't diagnosed with allergies until I moved to NC--different stuff
than in NY--but when I went back to NY 8 years later for a few months, I
still had allergy problems. I'd lost my immunity to NY allergins.

My parents always called bronchitis "a bad cold"......and still do. A
few years ago Dad had "a bad cold", finally went to the doctor and was
told it was bronchitis. Stronger meds and a round of antibiotics cleared
it up. I'm sure some of my "bad colds" as a kid were bronchitis, which
contributed to the asthma problems.

Sharp doctor! I don't think the older generation of doctors was as well
trained to recognise lung issues as the newer ones. Seems that way to
me; my athma should have been caught years before it was. A casual
comment from a friend made me ask my doctor at my next appointment; he
sent me for testing that definatively diagnosed it.

We do, as much as we can. Some trips it's easier to do that than others;
some trips we use some of what they have on hand and add healthier
sides.
