It was good but not something to indulge in every day. It had a syrup
soaking that made it moist but also added carbs; I'd try to tinker with
doing something lighter there. We took an insulin pen, just in case, but
never needed it (same with our trip north). Making smart choices about
what we eat does make a difference.

We try to but it's not always possible. Our ride to the airport on this
trip had a change in plans so got us there in time, but closer than we
usually figure. The flight we had to check our carry ons--we didn't know
it was the end of spring break week end. Next time we fly to Florida in
the spring we'll make sure we check that out. (G)

Shouldn't, but you never know. Been an almost non exsistent hurricane
season so far, tho it could change any day.
