I usually don't get noisy .... but, there have been moments. Mostly the person
to whom I complained has either comped the meal, given a discount and/or
thanked me for letting them know. Many times managers aren't aware of a problem
until someone lets them know.

I noticed last week that the kitchen staff at my favourite 6 until 2
"workingman's cafe" has been changing more often than I change the sheets on my
bed. I mentioned it to the manager and was told that the former crew
"screwed the pooch one too many times". So, I remarked that the shuffle looked
like open auditions for a play set in a small restaurant. And got informed that
most of the people seemed to be refugees from not-too-successful drug/alcohol
rehab programmes. It should all settle out in a bit.

Advisor link has 15 reviews - 14 stellar recommendations and the single onion
in the petunias. There are also some pictures - which, as usual with sites in
which the web-monkey is unfamiliar with the subject matter, are a mixed bag.
The big picture featured is of Jungle Jim's International Market in Cincinnati
- unless they take it down after I pointed it out to them.

The other aroma that makes me suspicious of food quality is disinfectants or
floral air "freshener" to the point it makes my eyes water.

They seem to get a fair dinner crowd, too. Parking is pretty easy and the
location is centerish city instead of out with the lunatic fringies on the far
west side.

I was going to post the cinnamon-apple omelette from Mr. Breakfast. But, I
think I remember you mentioning an allergy to apples ... this one is good, too.
And if it wasn't you allergic I'll post the omelette recipe at some future
time.  Bv)=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Bauernfruhstuck
 Categories: Pork, Eggs, Potatoes, Vegetables
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      4 md Potatoes
      4 sl Bacon; chopped
      3 lg Eggs
      3 tb Milk
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 c  Ham; cooked, cubed
      2 md Tomatoes; peeled
      1 tb Chives; fine chopped
 
  Boil unpeeled potatoes 30 minutes. Rinse under cold water,
  peel and set aside to cool. Slice potatoes when cooled.
  
  In a large skillet, cook bacon until transparent. Add the
  potato slices; cook until lightly browned.
  
  Meanwhile, blend eggs with milk and salt. Stir in the cubed
  ham. Cut the tomatoes into thin wedges; add to the egg
  mixture.
  
  Pour the egg mixture over the potatoes in the skillet. Cook
  until the eggs are set.
  
  Sprinkle with chopped chives and serve immediately.
  
  This is known as German Farmers Breakfast. It's very filling
  and very good.
