Most are. The places I frequent have little cause for complaint. Any problems
are usually "one-off" faux pas. If I see a pattern or sniff a rodent
(figuratively) I will usually say something without getting in anyone's face
about it.

Wait staff is pretty steady - mostly because the customers and the tips are
good. Kitchen staff - well ....

What irritated me the most is that the negative review was written after a
drive-by of what had to have been the wrong building. Or the old trout didn't
know what she was looking at. Did not even pull into the parking lot much less
go inside or, heavens forfend, try the food/service/ambiance.

I am lucky that my only known allergies are bananananas and marijuana. Oh, and
I am beginning to suspect an allergy to the contrasting dye I got when they did
my heart cath. But, the heart thing is less frequent that every five years, I
absolutely detest bananananas, and the allergy to wacky weed got me out of the
60s more-or-less intact. I would not like being allergic to something I really
liked.

How are you on apricots???

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Chicken w/Apricots
 Categories: Poultry, Pasta, Fruits, Curry
      Yield: 4 servings
 
  1 1/4 c  Dried orzo; 8 oz.
     15 oz Can unpeeled apricot halves
           - in light syrup
      4    Chicken breast halves;
           - skinned, boned
  1 1/2 ts Curry powder
      2 tb Olive oil
      6    Green onions
 
  Cook orzo according to package; drain. Drain apricot
  halves, reserving 1/2 cup syrup.
  
  Meanwhile, sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper and 1/2
  teaspoon curry powder. Heat oil in large skillet over
  medium heat. Add chicken; cook for 8 minutes, turning
  once. Add apricots the last 2 minutes.
  
  Transfer to plates.
  
  Cut green tops of 2 onions into diagonal slices; set
  aside; chop remaining onions. Add chopped onion and
  remaining curry powder to skillet; cook 1 minute. Stir
  in reserved syrup and orzo. Add to plates. Sprinkle
  onion tops.
  
  Makes 4 servings
