I had a good time in Home Ec - as the only "straight" guy. It was worth
suffering the comments of the uber-macho jocks. Especially when I began dating
a nice girl who just happened to be the Homecoming Queen. Frosted all their
flakes.   Bv)=

That requires that one of the parents not be employed outside the home. Which
is pretty rare these days.
 
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo
 Categories: Poultry, Soups, Pasta, Cheese
      Yield: 3 servings

      8 oz Uncooked linguine or
           - spaghetti
      1 c  Broccoli florets
      2 tb Butter
      1 lb Chicken breast halves;
           - skinned, in cubes
 10 3/4 oz Can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c  Whole milk
    1/2 c  Grated Parmesan cheese; plus
           - more to sprinkle at table
    1/4 ts Pepper

  Cook linguine according to package directions. Add
  broccoli to cooking water for the last 4 minutes of
  cooking time; drain.

  In a medium skillet, over med-high heat, melt butter. Add
  chicken and cook, stirring, until chicken is no longer
  pink. Add soup, milk, cheese, pepper & the linguine
  mixture. Heat through, stirring occasionally. 

  Serve with additional cheese. 

  Makes 4 servings

  Note: This recipe is from my 7th grade Home Ec. class,
