At least not on your usual paths of travel. There may be some, tucked
away in a corner of a strip mall you pass without a second glance. The
place we went to recently I knew was in the plaza, I just didn't know
where in the plaza. Drove in and started along the line of stores, found
it. Turns out the plaza is more than just a strip of stores along the
road. It's at least 2 rows deep of stores and the Middle Eastern place
was on a corner, with the main entrance on the side. Their default combo
with the gyro was fries but they were willing to sub in a Greek salad
for us.

We did do some asking when we stopped at a place in the Atlanta area the
week after I was diagnosed. Overall tho, we've not been to many Asian
places since then. We got a veggie stir fry with a white sauce--told
them I was diabetic and they made sure it was sugar free. Most places
have big pots of sauce made up in advance and dip from it as needed so
it was nice of them to make sure that I got a sugar free sauce.

At least there's an alternative. I think most places are willing to
provide one if you specify the need for it. If not, then they lose a
customer.

Yes, and it's good when the seafood isn't cooked to rubber. Even
reheated the next day it was good.

It was good. Tonight we're going to use the tagine for some spicy
Moroccan chicken and couscous.
