By ringing chicken into the discussion you took it from the realm of poppers.

Hardly that. Pork & beans uses white beans I believe. And, of course, salt
pork. No chilies in P&B, either. Or beef. So, who whizzed in your Wheaties this
morning, then?

      Title: Pineapple Weenie Beans
 Categories: Fruits, Beans, Pork, Poultry, Beef
      Yield: 8 Servings
 
     32 oz Can Showboat or Van Camps
           - Pork & Beans
     15 oz Can pineapple chunks or
           - crushed; w/syrup
     16 oz El cheapo hot dogs; in 3/4"
           - chunks
      4 oz Raisins
 
  Chop hot dogs. Open cans. Place all ingredients in a
  suitable sized sauce-pan and heat over medium heat,
  stirring to mix and occasionally to prevent sticking.
  
  Serves 8 hungry kids

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Bite You Back Rattlesnake Bites
 Categories: Appetisers, Chilies, Cheese, Herbs
      Yield: 12 servings

     12 oz Jalapenos; seeded, halved
      2 qt Oil for frying

MMMMM--------------------------FILLING------------------------------
     12 oz cream cheese; softened
      8 oz Jar commercial salsa
    1/4 c  Chopped cilantro
      8    (or more) habaneros; chop'd
           Dairy sour cream (opt)

MMMMM--------------------------COATING------------------------------
      1 c  Milk
      1 c  All-purpose flour
      1 c  Dry bread crumbs

  Blend filling ingredients in food processor till well
  incorporated. Thin with a bit of sour cream if mixture is
  too stiff. Spoon into a container and seal well with
  plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Refrigerate for one hour or
  more.

  When chilled spoon this mixture into the jalapeno halves.

  Put the milk and flour into two separate small bowls.

  Dip the stuffed jalapenos first into the milk then into
  the flour, making sure they are well coated with each.
  Allow the coated jalapenos to dry for about 10 minutes.

  Dip the jalapenos in milk again and roll them through the
  breadcrumbs. Allow them to dry, then repeat to ensure the
  entire surface of the jalapeno is coated.

  In a medium skillet, heat the oil to 360øF/180øC. Deep fry
  the coated jalapenos 2 to 3 minutes each, until golden
  brown. Remove and let drain on a paper towel.

  TO FREEZE AHEAD: Cooked and cooled poppers may be frozen.
  Freeze cooked and cooled poppers in a single layer on
  baking sheets, then package and store in freezer. To
  serve, place frozen poppers in a single layer on a baking
  sheet and place in a preheated 350øF/175øC oven to heat.
 
  Servings: 12
