Probably...  I just heard yesterday that they are predicting back into
the 70's for Columbus Day monday... so, proper fall weather, pretty
much. :)

Nice haul...  :)  Haven't seen the local pattypans show up here yet... I
rather like them... :)

Again, different families, different standards/patterns...  Daddy
usually served out all the plates, to make sure that it was "equitably"
divvied out... if he knew that there was a dislike of something, he
usually took that into account.  But he did it even for the adult
children... There was generally small enough portions as it was, that
one would just eat what what was given... sometimes there were seconds
of the veggies...  ;)

The hominy, no one knew that we didn't like it until we tried... it was
an experiment... since Daddy didn't like it, we didn't have it again...
although she did try a few more variations to see if any other ways
would be more palatable... It was especially memorable since even Daddy
didn't like any of the ways, so none of us had to eat anything than the
tiniest taste... and it never appeared on the table again.  :)

Not that untypical... but rather unfair all the same...
