Dunno...  either they've always been this bland and I just don't
remember it properly... or maybe a different cook (and possibly just
temporarily)...  I have noticed that often the buffet selections do get
dumbed down to a lower common denominator, while the hotter are
available on order from the menu... but I hadn't quite remembered that
being so much the case at this place.

At least there's a larger selection of Indian places than there used to
be... at least some of which give a better education...

Of course, one also needs to get into the habit of using the phrase...
to say nothing of remembering that one could ask... ;)

It did seem quieter than usual... might have just been that day, but
maybe not...

Possibly.  I guess I tend to use a hybred approach to cooking rice that
ends up with it producing its own creamy sauce texture anyway, but I
don't do that constant stirring the liquid in... And we eat it through a
number of stages of cook-ed-ness...

True.  I know Parkinson's pretty well, Daddy had it... I remember his
struggles, and how much the disease robbed him of himself...

Lots of people there, and no real reason to try to remember everyone
