title: Poppyseed Bread
Categories: breads
Yeild: 3 loaves

3 cups all purpose flour
2 1/4 cups of sugar
3 eggs
1 1/8 cup of oil
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon butter extract
1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds

Icing:
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon butter
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Mix all liquid ingredients together (in order given).
Then mix dry ingredients. Pour into 5 small greased
loaf pans or 3 large greased loaf pans and bake
for 45 minutes at 350 F degrees. As soon as
the bread comes out of the oven pour icing
mixture over it.

title: Crescent Caramel Swirl

Yield: 12 servings.

1/2 c  butter (do not use margarine)
1/2 c  chopped nuts
3/4 c  firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tb water
2       (8-ounce) cans Pillsbury
        -Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in small saucepan.
Coat bottom and sides of 12-cup Bundt pan with 2 tablespoons
of melted butter. Sprinkle pan with 3 tablespoons of the nuts.
In a saucepan add remaining nuts, brown sugar and water to
remaining metled butter . Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Boil 1 minute, stirring consistantly. Remove dough from cans;
do not unroll. Cut each long roll into 8 slices. Arange 8 slices,
cut side down, in nut-lined pan; separate layers of each
pinwheel slightly. Spoon half of brown sugar mixture over dough.
Place remaining 8 dough slices alternatley over bottom layer.
Spoon remaining brown sugar mixture over slices.
Bake at 350 degrees for 23-33 minutes or until deep golden brown.
Cool 3 minutes. Invert onto serving platter or waxed paper. Serve warm.
