Free is a powerful motivator. I have drunk free beverages of
the most varied in type and quality ... and returned to sample
even some of the worst again.

I wouldn't see how that could be, as the grain nonneutral spirits
in the blends are merely impure neutral spirits. So why diluting
the impure product with pure product would make things worse I
can't figure.

Because they have secret instruments that are much more sensitive
than the publicly known ones. And so do the illegal and amateur
eavesdroppers.

I figure I'm about a B or C+ as a security risk goes - slightly
off but passing pretty much all the time.

   My paranoia has been pushed a bit

That's quite so, and worse, it allows you to be
impersonated by someone creating a record with
wrong information, making it harder for you to fix.

---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Governor's Chicken (Aka General Tso's Chicken
 Categories: Chinese
      Yield: 6 Servings

      6    Chicken legs
      1    Egg
      1 c  Cornstarch
      7 c  Oil
  1 1/4 ts Salt
  1 1/4 ts Pepper
      8    Dried red peppers
      3    Green onions, chopped
      2 ts Minced garlic
  3 1/2 c  Sauce (see directions)

-----------------------------------SAUCE-----------------------------------

------------------------------CHILI-PEPPER OIL------------------------------

  1 t  Minced ginger 1 t Sesame oil 1/2 t Cornstarch 1 c Water 1 c Vinegar 1
  c  Soy sauce 1/2 c Chili-pepper oil (see below) 1 c Oil 1/4 c Crushed chili
  pepper flakes or 3 T Powdered chili or 10-12 Whole dried chili peppers

  SAUCE: Combine all ingredients.

  CHILI-PEPPER OIL: Heat oil in a small saucepan until very hot; turn heat
  low and add pepper flakes, or chili powder, or dried chili peppers, and
  stir for about 1 minute. Turn off heat. When the oil is completely cool,
  stir well, then strain the oil into a small bottle through cheesecloth or a
  paper napkin. The oil will keep for a month without losing it's flavor.
  GENERAL RECIPE DIRECTIONS: Remove skin from chicken legs. Cut in 1-1/4"
  pieces through the bone. Combine egg, cornstarch, 1 cup oil, salt and
  pepper. Marinate chicken in this mixture 30 minutes. Heat remaining 6 cups
  oil to 375 degs. Deep-fry chicken 5 minutes and drain. Heat a little of the
  oil and stir fry red peppers, green onions and garlic with the chicken and
  sauce 1 minute. Serve.

  Note: I used 4 boneless chicken breasts in place of legs.
