Right. I think I am dyslexic in that range. And after I went and looked 
it up in an (failed) attempt to get it right and appear to be erudite.

There is alleged to be some regulation by the city council. But, those 
are elected officials and Vic Antonocci who owns Lincoln/Yellow/Checker 
Cab also owns a big cheque book. As well as a big mouth. Gracious and 
World Peace can charge what they like as a flat-rate. If they used 
meters then they'd have to charge the same as the Big Yellow Cab Co.

We have a sort of analog to the fixed locations transport. I think Gray 
Line runs it. Touristers buy a pass good for all day and the trolley 
looking (converted) bus makes the rounds of all the Lincoln sites and 
the various museums. With the day pass one can ride to the desired 
destination, get off, do the tour and then catch the next jitney to the 
succeeding destination(s).

BTW - trolleys aren't dead. And are making a comeback. From Brooklyn to 
El Paso, TX to Portland and Astoria, OR plans are afoot .....

      Title: More Than a Strawberry Smoothie
 Categories: Beverages, Fruits, Dairy
      Yield: 4 servings

  1 1/2 c  Milk
      1 pt Fresh strawberries
      2    Bananas; peeled, in 2" pcs
    1/4 c  Powdered milk
    1/4 c  Oatmeal
    1/4 c  Honey
      2 c  Cracked ice

  In a blender combine all the ingredients until you have
  a smooth, thick texture.

  Serve immediately, preferably using chilled glasses.

  Makes four servings
