Her back will *always* give her trouble since by the time it was diagnosed for
what it was the window for surgical intervention to to any good has long
passed. Her daughter, Erin, on the other hand has had some successful disc
replacement procedures. And it doesn't look as if Erin will mother any children
to pass the gene for the degenerative disc problem to.

If I hit the lottery for a goodly sum (north of a couple million) I might get a
new (to me) house with a much improved kitchen. And share with family and
friends. No servants, though. Oh, and the first move would be a new phone

I have no idea. And she is long in the ground. There is a web site which may

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Marie Callender's Cornbread
 Categories: Breads, Dairy
      Yield: 6 servings

      1 c  Flour
      1 c  Cornmeal
    2/3 c  Sugar
      1 ts Salt
      3 ts Baking powder
      1 lg Egg
      1 c  Milk
    1/3 c  Oil

  Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl.

  Mix wet ingredients in another bowl; then combine with dry
  and stir till combined.

  Pour into ungreased 8" x 8" pan and bake 20-25 min at
  400øF/205øC.

  "Great cornbread recipe, very close to Marie
  Callendar's..kinda sweet but oh so good!"
