Yes, and when I get the beef bones made into soup stock/base, I'll have
more meals. I know I've got some stew beef on hand; that should make a
couple of meals for the freezer plus one for eating immediately. I've
also got a good sized boston butt that will I may do crock pot kalua
pork style (in crock pot on low for about 20 hours with ono seasoning).
So, we won't starve. (G)

Basically chop up the ham and put some into the fridge, the rest inot
the freezer. Then mix the desired amount with mayo, bit of pickle relish
and but of spicy brown mustard for a sandwich. It goes good tucked into
baslama bread. I'll probably do that tomorrow, between running loads of
laundry.

Mom used to use some onions in her cooking, but I use a lot more. Her
main use was with a chuck roast, done in an electric fry pan for Sunday
dinner. I'll add them to quite a few more things, ranging from the above
mentioned meat loaf to split pea soup to my grandmother's green bean,
etc. I made the beans for an American Legion/Auxilery dinner Friday
night and came home with just enough for a small serving each for Steve
and me.
